URLFill out the form to sign up a free Norton account. Please note that you need a new e-mail address which you have not already registered with Norton. And you will receive a verification e-mail from NortonAccount@symantec.com, click on the confirmation link in the e-mail to activate your account.
4. Double-click on the "DSGi_NISNETBOOK_17.0_OEM180_20990888.exe" file to install Norton Internet Security 2012 Netbook Edition. When the installation completes, the "Norton Account" window will automatically open. Enter the e-mail address that you used in step 2 into the text box, then click on "Next" button.
5. Type your Norton account password and click the "Sign In" button. Click "Close without Buying" link.
6. Visit your Norton account page (https://account.norton.com/amsweb/default.do), copy the product key and save it.
7. Double-click on the "NIS-TW-30-20-1-0-24-EN-US.exe" file to install Norton Internet Security 2013. The installation will automatically uninstall Norton Internet Security 2012 Netbook Edition and upgrade it to NIS 2013. You must restart your computer once the installation finished.
8. The "Complete Your Activation" window will be displayed. Type your e-mail address and click the "Next" button.
Enter your password and click on "Sign In" button. Click "Finished" link.
9. Double-click on the Norton Internet Security 2013 icon on the system tray to open the main interface and click the "Renew" link.
Click on "I have a key or code to enter" link.
Copy your Norton Internet Security 2013 product key and paste it into the text box, then click on the "Next" button.
Now, the activation is successful and you have 180 days (or 6 months) of protection.
